One day, completely by chance, I saw an ad online for IndonesianCupid. I clicked the link, and saw some lovely photos of interesting women. I decided to sign up...at the time, I didn't honestly think I would meet my soul mate! I live in Thailand, but travel often to Indonesia and wanted to meet a nice woman and thought IndonesianCupid could facilitate nicely. Most of the women I met ended up being friends or "penpals" since the distance to Thailand precluded me from having regular contact face to face. However, one girl ended up being much more than just friends! Our communication was difficult since it was mostly online chat at first, then phone calls...and after awhile we decided to meet in Bangkok. But, communicating online was not easy! We had a lot of difficulties getting to know each other through a long distance relationship, and by the time we met I think we had both given up on actually being together! We were a bit frustrated by the long distance, and so when we met for the first time we were both a bit cautious and thinking it would turn out to be just a friendship. But, when she walked out of the terminal at the airport in Bangkok...WOW! Everything changed! We had instant chemistry, and I started hoping that something great would happen between us...and it did! We spent a week together in Bangkok, followed by another week in Bali and had a fantastic time together. We just clicked, everything fit, perfect chemistry, same sense of humor, everything...I knew I had met my soul mate! Of course, many of the details are omitted here in this story, but suffice it to say that we fell deeply in love with each other. We would often remark to each other about how strange it was that we met online initially! We were so natural, so at ease with each other that it felt like we had known each other forever. In the end, I asked her to marry me...a very romantic moment in a beautiful place in Bali...and, to my everlasting joy, she said "yes". The rest is history...we are getting married on April 20th in Bangkok followed by a traditional ceremony in Indonesia with her family. I flew last week to meet both sides of her family and personally ask them for permission to marry their daughter. Both parents were ecstatic, and are so supportive of us. Her sister will fly here to our wedding in Thailand next week. I just want to say, on behalf of my fiance and myself, that IndonesianCupid truly changed our lives. I never expected it, but it happened. I know it may sound cliche, but I have never been happier. I met an amazing woman, who is absolutely perfect for me, through your service. I still can't believe it, but I found the most honest, trustworthy, intelligent, funny, inspiring and amazing woman. I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart: thank you. You changed my life.

At the beginning I've never believed to find a good man from a dating site until my good friend advised me to try my luck in IndonesianCupid. It was not difficult to get interest from men there but not easy to find someone who could send you chemistry until one "unexpected" man sent me messages. He's out of my criteria because he was younger then me. He was so persevere by sending me 3 messages as I've never replied him.
