Still Life With Woodpecker
Traditional Southern U.S., Asian, Italian, Mexican, love seafood. I also like to cook new recipes at home.
Most anything but rap.
Comfortable in anything from a t-shirt and jeans to a suit and tie. I've worked for three international companies so I know how to dress and present myself appropriately for the occasion.
Love to laugh and joke. Can be very serious or crazy funny.
I enjoy working with my hands on cars, house, yard. I like travel when I can and see new sights such as people historical sites and museums. Some of my hobbies include photography, astronomy, reading, learning and fishing with my sons to name a few.
I've been lucky enough to visit the Bahamas, Mexico, Canada, China, Italy, Switzerland, UK/London, U.S. and British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Las Vegas, ha. My sister was nice enough to take me to some of those countries on her business trips. I hope to travel to Italy or somewhere in Asia for my next vacation.
I feel I'm rather open to other cultures and their ways of life and tolerant of other religions. I may not understand a person's background or traditions at times and need to be educated by my partner. I try to be nice and respectful to others regardless of their upbringing, whether here in the States or overseas
Walking, talking, holding hands and enjoying each others company, taking care of each others needs and desires, no matter how small so that they feel special. Going outside the house/hotel to enjoy some sight seeing, activities, dining and maybe a little shopping if they like. I've outgrown the club scene but will accompany a companion out for an evening if that's what they enjoy occasionally.
Nice, friendly, respectful, helpful and easygoing usually. I try to find humor in most problems in life but occasionally do get frustrated at some situations and try to just walk away from them for a few moments if possible and regroup.
Someone who is loving, caring, trusting, romantic and truthful. Too much to ask for? I hope not.
For any relationship to grow and prosper two-way communication is important and I believe this is especially true if a multi-cultural relationship is to succeed. If either person doesn't like or doesn't understand the what their partner has said or asked, they need to try and let them know that and not let problems grow too large.
