I'm a fairly independent guy, creative, strong social conscience, sardonic humor, complex thinker, with wide ranging interests in mythology, preservation of indigenous cultures, sacred ceremony and art, Green Party politics and values, and health care for all. Looking for comfortable relationship, easygoing and complex conversations with ability to differ amiably and learn from each other. Am a certified massage therapist, so that's nice to share almost anytime. I love Argentine tango, teach it occasionally on an informal basis. The magic of a good tango can reverberate for days! I'm not looking for anyone to "be my other half" or do things for me, but rather another mostly whole person. Am an excellent cook, do my own housekeeping, laundry, chores, and problem solving. Grew up as a kid with my family living in Venezuela, Nicaragua, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico. Favorite places? Iguassu Falls, Ein Gedi, Borobudur, Tenochtitlan, Hezekiah's tunnel under Jerusalem, and Cerro Fitzroy (where I plan to visit someday). Worked on a kibbutz in Israel for a year, doing irrigation, harvesting, kitchen duty for 600, garbage man, laundry, welding and metal fabrication. I've had an interesting work history with the criminally insane in a maximum security treatment center; doing FBI prison research on convicted sex offenders and autoerotic asphyxia (I don't recommend it); also ran group home for boys, was a school-based therapist, and professional singer with Chanticleer, with lots of touring and CDs I'm proud of (Musikverein in Vienna; Lincoln Ctr, NYC, Sydney Opera House). Currently work in healthcare technology planning for large nonprofit provider. Interested in systems thinking, complexity theory, archetypal psychology, Edgar Rice Burroughs outer space sci fi, Moby Dick, Count of Monte Cristo, Buddhism (Tibetan), Middle East politics, the mounting crises of capitalism (and our apparent inability as a species to learn), neurophilosophy, fractals, strange attractors, toxic memes, critical theory (Frankfurt School). I do some volunteer international consulting on healthcare planning for remote, poor regions, esp. developing appropriate technology for rural maternal health services, bridging with midwives and traditional healers.

Yo vivo durante 7 meses en California y 5 meses en Puerta Plata. Estoy jubilado y no tienen que trabajar más que tiene un ingreso mensual constante. Pero yo no soy hombre rico en absoluto.
